JACKSON, MS. Juan Smith, coach at “North West Middle School” and member of the Mississippi Association of Educators, is the proud recipient of a $1,000 Thomas R. Brown Athletics Grant from California Casualty. A total of $83,000 was given to help middle and high school sports programs across the country purchase equipment, improve player safety, and offset participation fees. Several schools received more than one grant. California Casualty is one of the many service providers that offer MAE members low-cost benefits, and we appreciate their support of our members. Juan Smith, we salute you for a job well-done!
