State Spelling Winners Celebrate with MAE

Last week we had the honor of celebrating with our state’s spelling bee winners in person at MAE headquarters and presenting them with their awards! Congratulations again to Eesh Majithia, this year’s Mississippi Spelling Bee champion! Eesh is a two-time winner from St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and this summer he will represent Mississippi at the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

And, of course, additional congratulations are in order for this year’s runner up, Elthahir Zein! Elthahir is a 7th grader at Northwest Rankin Middle School. Please join us in a very big, very virtual round of applause for Eesh and Elthahir, and all of this year’s competitors! Footage of this year’s Bee is coming soon.
