As the most powerful voice for education in Mississippi, MAE members know that solidarity is what strengthens our mission. That includes voluntarily pooling our resources to help elect public officials who understand strong public schools make a strong Mississippi, and who will work with us to achieve the goal of creating strong public schools without regard to party or zip code.
We believe in working together to achieve goals, and that attitude helped secure the largest teacher pay raise in Mississippi history. There is still work to be done. Every year is an election year in Mississippi. That’s why we created the MAE Fund, and our members voluntarily offer their contributions to it.
We will soon have an online portal to accept additional donations to our efforts. Check back with us soon. In the meantime, if you wish to voluntarily contribute, please contact your UniServ Director or the MAE Headquarters. Together we can support candidates from both parties who support Mississippi’s public school educators and our schools.
