Nicole Jefferson, a dedicated member of the Mississippi Association of Educators (MAE) from Gulfport, Mississippi, has been selected by the U.S. Department of State for the prestigious Virtual English Language Educator Program. She will engage with English language learners and teachers in Mexico, focusing on the English for Entrepreneurship project. Jefferson, a 21-year international educator, is the only teacher from Mississippi chosen for this program in the 2023-2024 academic year. The Virtual English Language Educator Program connects experienced TESOL teachers with international partners to enhance English instruction and foster cultural exchange.
