The Center for Labor and a Just Economy at Harvard Law School and the National Education Association are conducting a study on community and connectedness among educators in the past few years in Michigan and Mississippi. We are looking for local educators to help lead virtual summer conversations with local teachers - both the facilitator and the participants will be compensated for your time!

Sign-up to lead a small group Zoom conversation of local MS educators to help us understand how you found community, connectedness, and belonging over the past few years and during COVID-19. You’ll be able to share your journey and listen to the stories of other Mississippi educators. Conversations will be recorded as part of the Shared Narrative Project, a partnership between the Center for Labor and a Just Economy at Harvard Law School, the Local Voices Network (LVN), NEA, and LSEA. The stories you share will be the foundation of a resource library that shares and uplifts the experiences of educators.

Conversation facilitators will receive a $150 honorarium from Harvard and participants will receive a $40 gift card as a thank you.

Register to lead a conversation here.

Please reach out to Thea Burke at [email protected] regarding detailed questions about the program.
